Do you take my health insurance?

Most likely yes! Chiropractic services are typically covered by your health insurance. We are in network with Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross, Cigna, Healthlink, Homestate Health, Medicaid and Medicare, United Healthcare, just to name a few. If you have a HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flex Spending Account), often in the form of a debit card to pay for health-related expenses, you can use it in the office for services and other supplies.

In the case that you are not covered by your insurance plan, or you are underinsured/not insured, a typical appointment is very affordable, even out of pocket.

How often should I visit a chiropractor?

It’s a myth that if you go once you’ll have to go forever. Your doctor won’t expect you to come for continuous care without symptoms. Generally, if you come in with pain, once you’ve been treated for your initial complaint, you’ll be scheduled for a few more appointments to make sure proper motion is being maintained and you will be instructed how to optimize your spinal health, then it will be recommended you return occasionally to be checked just like you would go to the dentist to get checked for tartar buildup and cavities. Of course, many people still choose to see their chiropractor weekly or monthly for wellness or maintenance care. My objective with any patient is to first relieve and eliminate your pain, but more importantly to help you achieve a stronger body and spine to minimize the chance of future flare ups.
